Support
There are several ways to support Kent Air Ambulance through your
business. These include placing a collection boxes in your retail outlet or
office, Payroll Giving, making us your Charity of the Year, holding a
fundraising event or taking part in our fundraising day, Funky Footwear Friday
which is held every September.
Placing a collection tin:
In 2006 over £68,000 was raised for our life saving charity from
collection tins through out
Charity of the Year Status:

Funky Footwear Friday
Funky Footwear Friday takes place every year during Air Ambulance Week
in September, which in 2007 was taken up by Air Ambulance Charities accross
All you need is to register with us and ask everyone within your business or organisation to donate just £1 to Kent Air Ambulance and then wear their funkiest shoes, whether they be a mis-matched pair of shoes colourful laces or just crazy, wacky shoes. Whichever takes your fancy!
It's simple and easy and the best bit is your workforce, can still wear
their normal dress.

Charity of the Year:
Many companies make Kent Air Ambulance their charity of the year.
Charity of the year status allows a business to involve its entire work force
in fundraising activities for our life saving helicopter.
This could be through sponsored events, fundraising activities or Payroll
Giving.

Payroll Giving:
Payroll Giving allows staff to donate money to Kent Air Ambulance
through their pay packet. This allows the charity to take advantage of tax
benefits from the Government increasing the donation by a further 28%.
