What would you do if you won the lottery? Not the National Lottery but the new Air Ambulance Superdraw.
The
new rollover lottery was launched at the beginning of September 2007 and
already hundreds of people have joined, and the countdown is on. The
first draw was on October 31st 2007 and the jackpot, if not won, grows to
£25,000.
Our
first Superdraw winner was Mrs. Hanson of Chatham, in August 2008. A
long-standing and valued supporter of the Kent Air Ambulance, she
netted herself the huge £25,000 prize!
Tickets are just £1 and to be eligible for Superdraw
you have to be a member of the regular Air Ambulance lottery which has
a weekly top prize value of £1,000.
Lottery manager Lynne
Mitchell said ‘This is very exciting. We are the first small charity to
take advantage of the new gaming laws to introduce a big money prize
lottery. The lotteries bring in very valuable funds to the Air
Ambulance, which makes everyone who is a member, a winner’.
